Ashanti Region GNAG Begins By-Election Process To Elect New Vice-Chairman

The Ashanti Regional Chapter of the Ghana National Association of Garages have opened nominations for its vice-chairmanship position.

The position has been left vacant ever since Mr. Charles Yamoah Boateng passed away on May 7, 2025 after a short illness.

Affectionately known as Master Charles, he held the position of Regional Vice-Chairman for almost two years.

From 5th June 2025 to 12th June 2025, nomination forms will be available at the Garages Head Office at Kumasi Suame Magazine.

A nomination form costs 4500gh cedis.

The process will continue with the filling of nomination forms from 13th June 2025 to 16th June 2025.

Vetting will take place on 19th June 2025 after which successful applicants will be allowed two weeks to campaign.

A date will then be communicated by Garages executives for the by-elections to take place at the Garages Head Office.

The whole process of electing a successor to the late vice-chairman will be supervised by Ashanti Regional Garages Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Luqman Nuhu Appiedu as well as some selected National and Regional Executives.
